This post is about a year late. We started a bathroom remodel LAST february, but it took me almost a year to pick out final odds and ends. And I wasn’t ready to post pictures until I was done.
I call myself a perfectionist. My husband just calls me crazy.
And I big huge thank you to Jennifer Bishop. Hiring her was my best. decision. ever.
I have to start by showin you the only before picture we have. It’s from the listing website when we bought the house (in 2005). Please make a lovely mental note of the purple paint, the white tile/grey grout flooring, and the oh so lovely faux marble vanity top.
It was glamorous, no?
Here is how it looks today:
My absolute favorite detail in the bathroom is the mirror over our vanity. It used to be gold and hanging in my mothers entry way. It’s always my opinion that a little bit of spray paint goes a long way to making almost anything chic.
Here is the rundown of where we got everything:
Bathtub, toilet, sink: Lowes
Vanity: Home Depot
Sink and shower faucets: Lowes
marble counter tops: Local Stone distributer
Paint: Benjamin Moore
Tile flooring and tub accents: Local tile store
Glass Shelf: Target
Glass canisters: Home Goods
Mirror: Mom.

I love the hardware and the subway tile. I also love the contrast between the dark wood and the (is that….MARBLE????). It’s lovely! Luxurious and oh so inviting.
Oh yay!!! Finally the pics and the final product. It looks GREAT and the paint is so soothing.
