You may remember this family from another recent session. And while it’s only been a few months since our last shoot, I was amazed at how much bigger sweet baby Ethan had grown. With his quick and easy smile and his bubbly toddler laugh, he quickly won my heart. Right around the year mark is just such a perfect age for photos. Most babies are so fascinated by me and my great big camera.

We headed to one of my favorite spots for family photos, Borges Ranch, and I love that these pictures look nothing like the other shoots I’ve taken at that location. It’s always a thrill to me when I find a new nook or cranny to shoot in.

Thank you Poppy for introducing me to your sweet family. I have loved getting to know you over the last year.  You have such a beautiful family.

I might be partial to this one because I have a little boy, but seeing a boy and their dad together melts my heart.  I can only imagine the wisdom being shared here.
