And yes, I can make your cards this year!

I have a serious obsession.  I simply love holiday cards.  I love getting them, displaying them, and mailing off my own.  I adore the colorful paper, seeing all of the pictures and season they all celebrate. So, I’m sure you can understand my excitement now that I’m offering custom holiday cards to all of my clients!

I just purchased these fun retro designs from Simplicity Photography Design. I’m. In. Love!

So, remember this little guy?  I finally connected with him again to do his second session. This time, after a wonderful afternoon nap, we had lots of smiles, giggles, and belly laughs.  It was a blast.  San Francisco was abnormally warm that day and it was positively blissful to be wandering around in the sunshine.

Logan makes me look forward to the toddle years.  I hope Grayson is just as much fun when he gets to that age!

Thank you Jennifer and Ray for letting me spend time with your family.

Some of my favorite memories of my dad involve a gadget of some kind and the manual either detaling it’s use, or chronically the entire history of every product made by that company.  My dad liked his information and his toys! One of his many hobbies was photography (In addition to acoustic guitar, 19th century spur collections, and westerns) was photography.  Yesterday, my Uncle thought I’d like to have my dad’s 1950’s Leica M3.  I don’t know much about rangefinder cameras and there are very few labs that will even develop the film.  Call me crazy, but I’m giddy with excitement to try something new.

It makes me happy to explore my creativity.  So thank you Uncle Bob for helping me find a little more.  And a little extra thanks for not only hanging on to his camera – but also the book of Leica History.  I might not have believe it was his it didn’t come with a manual.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again.  I have wonderful friends and terrific clients.  Jenni and I have been friends for a long time and I’m so excited to share her maternity pictures.  Plus, she let me try something that may not have normally been her style.  (Because she’s an awesome person!)

Jenni and Justin are having their first baby in the fall and were nice enough to let me lead them through snake infested fields. (No joke!)  They believed me when I told them that ‘it would be totally cool if you laid on the ground in your nice skirt”.  And they didn’t even bat an eyelash when I mentioned laying across the table touching a porta-potty.  Troopers I tell ya!

Thank you J&J for believing me!  I can’t wait to meet baby girl T.

Have I mentioned how much I love my clients?  Because I do.  I love them.  Lesley and Mike are angels for letting me come over only 6 days after Lucas made his arrival and bend their little guy into the cutest positions.

And Lucas was a doll. So sweet, sleepy, and lovable. He may have been a little late, but I’m sure Mama thinks he was worth every minute of it!
