January 1, 20122011 Favorites | Day 5 | High School senior photographer
December 30, 2011This session, hands down, is a favorite. Maddy was a blast to shoot, a natural in front of the camera and an all around great girl. Plus, she’s gorgeous!
To me, this picture is perfection. Between the creamy skin, the amazing hair, the perfect angle and the “almost” expression, it just takes my breath away.
2011 Favorites | Day 1| Bay Area Senior photographer
December 26, 2011I had so much fun last year spending a week chronicling my favorite images of 2010. I couldn’t pass up an opportunity to do it all over again for 2011. This was such an incredibly fulfilling year for me. I feel so incredibly humbled and blessed that I was able to accomplish so many of my goals and I truly enjoyed getting so know so many new clients and friends. I have a big, huge cyber hug for all of you for following along with my journey. (Seriously, you only think I’m kidding.) So, get ready folks, there is a week of fun headed your way!
Dara’s shoot was so. much. fun. It was the perfect senior session to kick off my year, and my week of favorites. (And yes, I have problems only picking one.)

Really, gorgeous.

December 14, 2011A big, huge, thank you to Leslie at Seniorologie for the featuring Maddy’s Senior session today. Leslie’s blog is quite possibly the single best senior portrait inspiration site on the web. In fact, if you’ve ever sent me an email asking for outfit and location ideas, chances are good I sent you over there! I am beyond thrilled at being included.
You can see more of my interview with Leslie HERE.
Maddy | 2012 Dougherty Valley High School Senior
November 3, 2011There is just something about how fabulous this girl and her family are. It could be the gorgeous red hair. It might be the cute clothes and fun jewelry. But I’m pretty sure, it has a lot more to do with their wonderful sense of humor, their ability to genuine kindness and their closeness to each other.
I had such a good time getting to know Maddy, her mom Tiffany (who by the way is a fantastic instructor at the Dailey Method in Danville!), and her adorable younger sister. Thank you all for spending the day with me.

October 19, 2011I tend to shy away from online sneak peaks. I think there is something amazing about seeing you gallery of images, in its entirety, for the first time. It should be emotional and exciting.
But Maddy’s session just blew me away. She is truly so beautiful. Inside and out.
More to come soon!

Photographer’s Daughter | Meg Sexton Photography
September 13, 2011This past weekend was my husband’s company picnic. I brought my camera along because, well, that’s just what I do. I expected to get plenty of my child with balloons and face paint. Maybe a few of him and my darling husband. And while I did get those, I just couldn’t help by sneak in a few shots of the lovely Wendy VonSosen’s daughter, Maddy.
This is just how the stylish Maddy dressed. For a company picnic. Maybe it has something to do with her mom being a fabulous photographer? If only I could redo high school with her style. (And her hair!)
So, this is what I got in 5 minutes as the fog rolled in over the hills, with a yellow balloon animal bunny sticking out of my jeans pocket.
